Ali'iolani Elementary School is
located in the Kaimuki area, close to the St. Louis High
School and Chaminade College campuses. The area is primarily
residential, with small business and apartment buildings
lining Waialae Avenue. This is an old community where three
generations of residents may have attended Ali'iolani
School. Aside from a basketball court nearby, the school's
grounds are the only park like facility within the school
attendance area. Mission Statement: We
believe that the mission of Ali'iolani Elementary School is
to meet the physical, social and intellectual needs of all
of our students by providing instruction which will equip
them to become lifelong learners as well as literate,
responsible and productive members of our democratic
society. Philosophy:
Every student has the potential and should be given the
opportunity to develop physically, socially and
intellectually.
