Being able to read hiragana, katakana and kanji, knowing vocabulary and understanding grammar is just the beginning. How you use language to communicate with others, what individuals perceive based on their culture, and when do these factors lead to effective communication or miscommunication are just as important. We will explore the world of travel and the industries directly related to tourism through the study of Japanese.
