Q: Will my child be able to buy lunch
at school?
A: Yes, students who want, can buy lunch from the
cafeteria. Lunch prices are $1 per lunch. Students will be
eating at picnic tables outside on the Innovations campus
rather than in the Kahakai cafeteria. Students may prefer to
bring their own lunch to school.
Q: Will my child be allowed to ride
the bus to school?
A: Innovation students are allowed to ride the bus on a
space available basis. If a route gets too full and there
are not enough seats for Kahakai students, IPCS students'
parents on the full bus may be notified they will need to
provide their own transportation for their child. Every
effort will be made to accomodate students on each of the
bus routes.
Q: What time does school start?
A: School starts at 7:45 and ends at 1:55 M, T, Th, F.
Wednesdays, school is out at 12:55.
Students don't need to arrive on campus until 7:30
am.
Q: Do Innovations' students
participate in Kahakai activities?
A: No, not as a general rule. IPCS has its own
performances, field trips, and special events. IPCS students
participate in Kahakai safety drills for fire or
earthquake.
Q: Do I need to buy school supplies
for my child?
A: No, parents are asked to send in $35 for supplies and
IPCS purchases supplies for the children.
Q: How can parents help the IPCS staff
with the school?
A: Give us a call at 327-6205 or come by any day. We
have a variety of jobs that parents can help with. We
welcome parent involvement.
Q: How do I find out about
enrollment?
A: Go to our Admissions
page. Applications
are available on-line.
