As a participant in this WebQuest you'll be working in a large group, independently, and in small groups to complete the activities in the Process section of the WebQuest. You'll be using a variety of Internet tools to complete this work.

Your work will culminate in a group presentation using one of the following formats:

• Website with examples
• Multimedia presentation
• Written article

In your presentation you will answer the following questions by creating examples that support your position:

• Can using technology actually enhance and support standards-based curriculum or is it just a passing fad?
• What skills does a classroom teacher need to have if he/she wants to use the technology to support curriculum?
• Are the results worth the time invested by the teacher and the students?
• What considerations need to be made if a teacher chooses to use technology in the classroom?
