Advertising Rubric

Objectives: All groups will create a three dimensional poster and one of the following:  webpage, radio commercial or skit.

All groups must submit scripts, storyboards or rough drafts of the advertisements.  See Ms. Arellano for approval and storyboard sheet.

 

Students who achieve highest amount of points based on the requirements of the rubric will have their work displayed on the team website or on campus and will receive extra-credit points towards the final project grade.

 

Poster requirements:

·          Three dimensional-includes length, width and height. (No larger than 2’ x 1’ and no smaller than 11” x 14”

·          Includes a propaganda technique.

·          Has the What, When, Where and Why of the conference.

·          Includes text, color, graphics and pictures.  Include captions for all pictures and relevant graphics.  Optional: artifacts.

·          Meets the standards on the rubric

 

 

 Webpage requirements:

·          Includes a propaganda technique.

·          Has the What, When, Where and Why of the conference.

·          Includes text, color, graphics and pictures.  Include captions for all pictures and relevant graphics. 

·          Must include navigation links or buttons and includes link to the team website-recycle index page.

·          Use of non-copyrighted material (pictures, graphics, sounds, etc).

·          Color, animated graphics and scripts enhance the webpage and are not distracting.

·          Include contact information of the Webmaster and date of last update.

·          Submit a 3.5-inch floppy, cd-copy or 100 MB zip disk and URL of uploaded site.

 

Radio Commercial requirements:

·          Includes a propaganda technique.

·          Has the What, When, Where and Why of the conference.

·          Audience is able to comprehend the commercial or skit.

·          Audio is clear of distracting noise and the audience is able to hear the characters clearly.

·          All members should have a speaking part.

 

Skit requirements

·          Includes a propaganda technique.

·          Has the What, When, Where and Why of the conference.

·          Has appropriate costumes, set or props.

·          Written props are legible and readable by the audience.

·          Audience is able to comprehend the commercial or skit.

·          Audio is clear of distracting noise and the audience is able to hear the characters clearly.

·          All members should have a speaking or acting part.
