Kalama Intermediate School strives to maintain its connection to the community in which it is located and to develop its own sense of community within the school.
Our school draws students from Haiku, Kula, Makawao, Paia, and Pukalani and we want to help the students to develop a sense of community as Kalama students through the TRIBES Program. The school itself encourages students to participate in Community Service activities with great results.
Finally, our school has recently adopted a School Community Council approach to its planning to help develop ties to the community.
