The name of the dinosaur I am researching is Albertosaurus. It lived during the Cretaceous Period. I chose to study it because this dinosaur was a meat-eater. It was a very big dinosaur and when it gets in trouble it doesn't get worried because it can eat the other dinosaurs.
The Albertosaurus walked on two long legs. He had a large head and sharp saw-tooth teeth. It has two-fingered hands and short arms. It's long tail helped it balance. No one knows what color Albertosaurus was. He was about 30 feet long and about 11 feet tall at the hips. He weighed about 3 tons. It's lower jaw and upper jaw had about 17 to 19 teeth. He only had one row of teeth, but he had at least one replacement tooth growing under each tooth.
The Albertosaurus ate meat. They ate other dinosaurs who ate plants. It was easy to bite the plant eaters because they had very sharp jagged teeth.
Albertosaurus protected himself with claws. Also, they used their strong legs and teeth for protection. Albertosaurus was a very fast dinosaur and had great agility to get away from other dinosaurs.
