Heterodontosaurus

The name of the dinosaur I am researching is the Heterodontosaurus. It it lived during the Jurassic Period. I chose to study it because I wondered if it laid eggs. We know that Dinosaurs are real because the people found fossils. Scientist then put fossils together and it looks like a puzzle. Fossils of this dinosaur were found in South Africa.

Its head looked big and fat. The Heterodontosaurus weighed from 10 to 42 pounds. My dinosaur was so small. It had 2 legs in the front and 2 in the back. The dinosaur I am studying ate meat, like bugs, and plants. It had 3 teeth in the front and 4 in the back. The Heterodontosaurus protected itself by running away from other Dinosaurs that was trying to eat it. An interesting fact is that it has such a long name.
