Megalosaurus was as tall as the classroom. Megalosaurus looked like a great big lizard. It had small arms with three fingers.It also had strong back legs. Megalosaurus had a strong tail. It's legs looked like bird's legs except it's legs were much much bigger. It also had sharp teeth. It weighed 1 ton 30 feet long and 10 feet tall.

Megalosaurus lived in the desert. It was a carnivore that ate lots of meat. He ate other dinosaurs to survive. It protected itself by its powerful arms, its strong fast legs, and its sharp teeth. Megalosaurus teeth were like curved daggers. When a tooth fell or wore out a new tooth grew in it's place. The tops of the teeth were curved backward and flattened from side to side, and the back and front edges had jagged ridges,like the edge of a serrated knife. A Megalosaurus had a big mouth!

Megalosaurus lived during the Jurassic period. Megalosaurus lived in Tanzania England and France.
