Our class decided to do our project on Ancient Egypt because after looking at books about Egypt, we thought it would be interesting to learn about a country we knew very little about. The idea of mummies and pyramids really grabbed us and so we started our journey to Ancient Egypt through books, magazines, videos and the internet. We used the KWL strategy (What We Know, What We Wonder, What We Learned) to get our research started.
