Goals: This web page is designed to be a resource for teachers and staff on the uses of some of the various databases implemented at KHPES via Lotus Notes. It will provide guidance and "tips" on using the the databases.

Objectives:

Learners will

• Use the functions of the EMAIL database.
• Create Groups in thier personal ADDRESS BOOK ON LOCAL
• Access information and submit an announcement request on KA'U BULLETIN
• Make service requests on KA'U HIGH SERVICE REQUESTS
• Access information and input information on KA'U MINUTES
• Use KA'U HANDBOOK for independent help on using Lotus Notes
• Submit to KA'U UNIT/LESSON PLANS
• Read DOE MEMOS AND NOTICES

Prerequisities:

Learners will

• Have basic/introductory computer skills
• Have basic internet skills
• Have a Lotus Notes account and all the necessary databases on his/her classroom computer
• Have some familiarity with word processing
