Major purchase decisions are made by the tech committee and approved by administration. The tech committee is comprised of representatives from K-12 departments and grade levels. The committee addresses school wide needs. Technology coordinators purchase items which align with the schools technology plan and support the SID. When necessary, technology coordinators seek consensus from the technology committee and/or administration as unplanned needs arise.

Currently, financial support for technology comes from regular school funds, title I money, supplemented by grants. The recent termination of specific state computer funds have negatively affected ongoing maintenance and upkeep of current technological advances.

Year I: 03-04

• Maintenance for network infrastructure: Wireless & Physical LAN, $5000
• MDF room renovation, HS&ELEM. Need to seek repair & maintenance funding, see Dean.
• Computers, 10 for HS & 5 for ELEM $12000
• ESchool Conference, HS&ELEM $3000
• Stipends/Substitutes for inservice on varied technology needs, HS&ELEM, $1000
• Stipends/Substitutes for Technology integration plans via department meetings with TC, inclusion on SID, HS
• Computer repair/parts $1000, HS&ELEM
• Software licenses, $1000
• TV connection of classroom computers, gradual implementation, HS&ELEM, amount varies with each system.

Year II: 04-05
