ALOHA!
Welcome To Lincoln!

Here is the front of our school. The mountain in the background is Punchbowl. It is a National Memorial Cemetery.

About Our School
Many students come to Lincoln from areas called Papakolea, Makiki and Tantalus. Some students live in houses and others live in apartments. Did you know our school is named after the 16th president of the United States, Abraham Lincoln? We just celebrated his birthday on February 12.

Did you know that Abraham Lincoln was special for not only great things for his family but for freeing slaves? When Lincoln became President, there was a big war. It was called the Civil War. It was a war between the North and the South. One side wanted slavery and the other side wanted no slavery. President Lincoln believed in freedom. President Lincoln's side won the Civil War.
