Course Description

This hands-on survey of computer art will introduce participants to computer graphics incorporating the basic principles of visual art. Participants will utilize computer drawing and painting tools to develop their skill in creating and teaching visual art consistent with the HCPS II Content Standards.

This course will include the creation of animated GIFs, the use of gradients, patterns, tessellations, and collages. Facilitative tips and techniques in drawing will be applied.


Course Level & Prerequisites

Level: Beginner

Prerequisites: Participants should know basic computer operations and be able to use a mouse. Drawing skills are helpful but not required.


Type: Face-to-face

Non-Credit
Due to the nature and short length of this course, Hawaii D.O.E. PD credit is not available.
