E-School Project: Literature Genres for Grades 4 & 5

Brief course desciption: This unit will take approximately 3 to 4 weeks to complete. Students need to select a novel or chapter book to read independently from the recommended list. Most activities will refer or relate to the selected book. The culminating project is to produce a piece of writing that incorporates elements appropriate to the genre after engaging in this genre study. All assignments should be done satisfactorily. Refer to assessment and evaluation section.
