Culminating Activity

Write your own story by using the questions below and/or the story web or story map to get you started. Then using a word processing program, write your story of approximately 1 to 2 pages, double spaced, with font size 12 or 14. Include one or more illustrations that have been generated by a draw program. Optional: Include also a map for the setting that you drew and scanned. Share by posting your story to the web. (The webmaster can help you do this.)

Guide Questions (to help with organizing your story)

Setting: Will my story take place in a magical world or distant planet? What will this world be like?

 

 

Main character: Who is the main character? Will he or she or it have any special powers?

 

 

 

Other characters: Who will the other characters be? Do they have special abilities? What will their relationship be to the main character?

 

 

Plot: What will the characters try to do?

 

 

 

Other factors: Forces of good vs forces of evil (theme)
