1. The library is open daily Monday-Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 3 p.m.

2. All grades from first through sixth can borrow up to five books or items.

3. The library has books, videos, magazines, Internet access, computer software, reference materials - atlases, encyclopedias, dictionaries, and tables where students can study.

4. Books are due in a week.

5. Fifth and sixth graders can join the Library Club which has volunteers that come in at recess to do different tasks. Everyone can help by placing books back on the shelf in the correct place and keeping the library orderly.

6. A library supports the school's curriculum and promotes literacy.

7. Students can come to the library at first recess with a library pass.

8. The librarian is there to guide you.

9. The librarian manages the library, orders and processes books and other materials, conducts lessons, promotes reading, does book talks, teaches how to use the computer to access information, and helps you with research.
