GOAL To provide a quality educational experience for middle school students and teachers through innovative space simulations that promote life long learning and to carry out educational activities which support teachers in the classroom and improve educational practices. Objectives Increase student interest and provide career options in science, mathematics and technology Provide concrete meaning to abstract concepts. Provide an opportunity for students to develop and apply team building, communication, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills. Provide an environment where students are responsible for their own learning and learner outcomes. Encourage students to pose questions and to explore various pathways to acquiring answers. Create positive learning experiences that raises the quality of student work and increases student expectations for success. Provide opportunities for students to evaluate individual and group performance, and develop self-improvement goals and plans.
