Vanessa Leinaala Lancaster is a shy, sensitive, responsible and friendly junior at Waianae High. She was born on August 1, 1981, and is the daughter of Charles and Paula Lancaster. Vanessa has three older sisters, who are Rene, 24, Chasity, 22, and Katie who is 19. At home she's often called Nessa, and she has a Chow named Mana.

Nessa's hobbies are spending time with her boyfriend Bobby, talking stories, riding bikes, relaxing and cruising with her friends. During her free time, you can most likely find Nessa cruising at Bobby's house or doing something with his family. Her favorite song is Looking Through Your Eyes by LeAnn Rimes, who also happens to be her favorite musical artist. Vanessa's favorite movie is Soul Food.

Growing up, Vanessa attended Makaha Elementary and Waianae Intermediate Schools. In school, Vanessa's favorite subjects are math and science. Besides being a part of Student Union, Nessa is a statistician for the Junior Varsity Boys Basketball team and also the Varsity Boys Baseball team. After high school, Vanessa plans to work and attend college. The college in her mind is Leeward Community College, and she would like to major in either Teaching or Pharmacy.

In the next ten years, Vanessa sees herself successful, and happily married to Mr. Ilae starting a family of their own. Nessa looks up to her parents because they taught her discipline, responsibilities and to reach for what she believes in. If she was able to go anywhere of her choice, she would go around the world to check out all the romantic, lovely and beautiful places. She would like to meet Michael Jordan if given the oppurtunity to meet anyone in the world because he's a perfect example of striving to become and N.B.A. all star player. If she could be anything in the world, she would like to be a superstar so she can see what their lifestyle is like.
