Aloha pumehana kakou. E kipa mai i ka makou 'aoao 'upena! Welcome to the Wai'anae High School Searider website. Our 2,250 students and staff welcome you from the Wai'anae Coast of the island of O'ahu in Hawai'i, U.S.A. where our school may be the only high school in the nation located on a beach.

Sports Program A perennial state football power, Waianae has won more football championships than any other school in the Oahu Interscholastic Association (18 in the last 24 years).
Communications Programs With well over 180 students enrolled in one or more of our communications classes, this award-winning program is the largest of its kind in Hawai'i and the only one in the state combining hands-on TV Production, Radio Broadcasting,Website Publishing and Print Journalism into one integrated program.

The program, which includes, Television Production, Radio Broadcasting, Interactive CD-ROM Multimedia Publishing, and World Wide Web Publishing, is coordinated by teachers, Mr. Norman Chock and Mrs. L.
